Ringturn nominated for People's Book Prize

The rather excellent novel Ringturn, by John C Mawson has been nominated for the People's Book Prize, for the April vote. Each months entries with the most votes in the categories of Fiction, Non-fiction and Children's go through to become finalists of the annual People's Book Prize Awards on 21st July 2010 at The "Stationers & Newspaper Makers" in London.

Ringturn tells the story of a humans being carried to a distant civilisation on a planet orbiting Epsilon Eridani, eleven light years from Earth, back in the days of the black death. Flash forward to the 21st century and mankind has finally discovered the method to travel the stars, only to find a very human colony thriving on a planet in another solar system. Intelligent and very well written, Ringturn is a very enjoyable read and we would urge you to vote for the book now!
