Locus Award

Established in 1971, the Locus Award is presented each year to winners of the Locus magazine's reader's poll. Between 1971 and 1979 there was an award for "best novel", however since 1980 this has been split into "Best Sci fi Novel" and "Best Fantasy Novel".
