David Gemmell Award

The David Gemmell Legend Award was created to honour the much loved author, and awards the very best in epic fantasy for the previous year. The award was established in 2008. There are three seperate awards, The Morningstar for best newcomer, the Ravenheart for best cover artist and the legend Award for best novel.

The trophy for the Legend award takes the shape of the infamous axe of the Legendary Druss - Snaga, recreated by the Raven Armoury.
