Bantam Books
Bantam Books is an imprint of Random House publishing.
Originally founded in 1945 by Ian and Betty Ballantine Walter B. Pitkin, Jr. and Sidney B. Kramer, Bantam Books began as a mass market publisher and mainly ran reprints of hardcover books.
They were the original publishers of the childrens book series "Choose Your Own Adventure" as well as being the first publishers of Star Trek novels.
Over the years there have been many big name authors who's works have been published by Bantam including Stephen R. Donaldson, Ray Bradbury, Isaac Asimov, Jean Auel, John Grisham and Robert Ludlum.
