Lester del Rey
Lester del Rey was an American author of science fiction and the founder of Del Ray books publishers, an Imprint of Random House that specialise in science fiction and fantasy. According to his sister, his real name was Leanard Knapp.
He won the Skylark Award for contributing significantly to the science fiction genre, the 1985 Balrog Special Award and the 1990 Grand Master Award for a lifetime achievement in science fiction.
