Hardboiled Science Fiction
Hardboiled science fiction is a genre that blends noir with an American style detective fiction, within a very defined boundary. The protagonist is usually a male investigator who works alone, wears a gun and hangs out in seedy bars and clubs. The story will usually involve a murder mystery that the investigator will use any means required to solve.
