Robert Holdstock Award

The Robert Holdstock Award is the British Fantasy Society's award for best fantasy novel, named in honour of the author of Mythago Wood. It was created in 2012 when the Society split its single best novel category in two: the long-running August Derleth Award narrowed to best horror novel, and the new Holdstock Award took on best fantasy novel. The two are sibling awards, each with its own jury-selected shortlist, presented together at FantasyCon. The award is for novels only.
