Jack Vance
Jack Vance is an award winning American author of science fiction and fantasy. He was won 3 Hugo awards, a Nebula award, a Jupiter award, a World fantasy award and was awarded Grand Master of the Science Fiction Writers of America in 1997.
He has written under a number of pen names including Ellery Queen, Alan Wade, Peter Held, John van See and Jay Kavanse. In 2009 the New York Times Magazine described him as "one of American literature?s most distinctive and undervalued voices".
