Bodley Head Children's Books
"Bodley Head" was founded back in 1887 by John Lane and Elkin Matthews. Starting out by trading purely in antiquarian books they branched out into "stylish decadence" before becoming a private company in 1921. They eventually became a publishing group in the 1970's and became an imprint of Random House in 1987.
Since then only the Children's Books arm of the business has continued trading, through which some major authors works have appeared - including those of Joseph Delaney, Matt Haig and Kate Thompson.
