Daniel H Wilson

Daniel H Wilson is an American author, TV host and robotics engineer. His first novel "How to Survive a Robot Uprising" (published in 2005) was critically acclaimed and even won an award from Wired magazine.

His second novel Robopocalypse (published by DoubleDay in 2009) was picked up by DreamWorks SKG to be made into a film, directed by Steven Speilberg and scheduled for release in 2013.

Since then his first novel has also been "optioned" by Steve Pink - the writer of classics High Fidelity and Grosse Pointe Blank - along with the actor Jack Black. The film rights of his third novel Amped (published again by DoubleDay in 2012) has been sold to Summit Entertainment, to be directed by Alex Proyas.
