Ian Watson

Ian Watson is a well loved award winning British author of science fiction, a fairly prolific writer. He is particularly noted for his creation of one of the first ever Warhammer 40 000 novels "Space Marine" which was taken out of print when Games Workshop updated thier vision of the Warhammer 40 000 universe.

He also wrote the screenplay for Steven Spielbergs film "A.I.: Artificial Intelligence, was an ideas guy for Stanley Kubrick and wrote the first ever transatlantic SF novel collaboration "Under Heaven's Bridge" with Michael Bishop.
