Ian McDonald

Ian McDonald is an award winning British science fiction author who is best known for his work set in developing nations, including the novels "River of Gods", "Brasyl" and his "Chaga Saga" (describing the AIDS crisis in Africa).

>Ian McDonald has won a number of awards for his novels, including The Locus Award, the Teodore Sturgeon Award, and the BSFA Award. He has been nominated for the Hugo 3 time, the Nebula twice, the Arthur C Clarke 3 times, the Philip K Dick twice, the Locus twice, the BSFA 5 times and the John W Campbell 3 times.
